"The HEMTT Tanker is one of the few wheeled vehicles that can keep pace with the Bradley and Abrams combat systems it supports. In 2004 the US Army completed its upgrade of the entire fleet enabling the tanker to maneuver over rougher terrain and still support fast moving armored forces. The 8x8 wheeled vehicle, with two-axle steering, has a tanker capacity of 2,500 gallons/9,433 liters. It has no armament or armor."
